Our Mission

PinPoint Treasure exists to give people a reason to step outside, explore the world, and pursue a real mystery with real tools — not another screen-bound pastime.

The premise is simple: turn every canyon, ridgeline, and abandoned trail into a mission with GPS coordinates, LiDAR terrain data, historical archives, and government geological surveys backing it up.

The platform is aimed at improving health as a side effect: users report time outdoors, walking, and fresh air rather than sedentary screen time. Treasure hunting becomes an outdoor lifestyle rather than a hobby confined to a device.

It is also aimed at purpose. Veterans, retirees, and people feeling stuck have used the platform to build a research and field routine — a mystery to solve and a place to go every week.

A secondary goal is learning. Research runs teach history and geography — Civil War movements, Gold Rush routes, colonial settlements, cipher analysis, terrain interpretation — while sharpening research skills over time.

A third goal is community. The finds feed and shared discoveries connect explorers, historians, and adventurers who share tips, findings, and lessons from field work.
