The Research Directorate

The Research Directorate is PinPoint Treasure's hub for original, long-form investigations into documented lost caches.

Every dossier is built to a single standard: each claim is classified by evidence tier, every source is named, and every hypothesis is stated so it can be tested or refuted.

No speculation is presented as fact. Retracted claims are kept on the record as retracted so the reasoning trail is preserved, and null results — hypotheses that failed a controlled test — are labeled as null results rather than quietly dropped.

Closed reviews published here include the Veit Spring Canyon Diablo cache, closed as LEGEND after every citation traced to one unverifiable book, and the Confederate treasury at Chennault, where the documented record explains the money without a buried cache.

The investigations layer complements the platform's tooling: the Cipher Decryption Engine handles the encoded material, the LiDAR pipeline handles the terrain, and the dossier structure keeps the reasoning honest.

New investigations will be added here as they reach a research-directorate standard: primary sources cited, coordinates classified, and hypotheses stated as testable.
